Cambree Housley

Cambree is a little two year old girl who has been battling B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia since she was 14 months old. With the support of her parents and her older twin sisters, she has been able to fight through some of the hardest things anyone on this earth has to go through, and that is Chemo and radiation. It was great fun watching her and her sisters enjoy all these gifts and toys that my foundation could provide for her. It was hard seeing what her little body had gone through. I know how hard it is and it made me smile sot see how well she was doing.  It was very humbling and wonderful to be given so much strength by a little girl who I had just met. She was amazing.

 

Lizzie Hammer

Getting everything for Lizzie’s package was very fun. She is a fifteen year old girl who has relapsed pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She has been battling this bout since last February and is in the middle of her treatments. Her application said that she liked Emoji, Legos, painting, and Disney (specifically Tinker Bell). So, we got all the basic stuff like emoji pillows, cool Disney Legos, some sweet advanced coloring books, but we wanted to find some really cool tinker bell stuff. We went online looking for something amazing that had to do with Tinker bell, and we weren’t disappointed. We found a beautiful realistic painting of Peter Pan and Wendy with Tinker Bell in the background and we found this really cool Tinker bell ring. She was probably the most excited of all of the people we have made Smiles Packages so far, and that really made me feel good. I’m just glad that she really enjoyed it and hopefully she will continue to smile about what we got her for a long long time.
